Tannery is now accepting local hides for drop-off. 〰️ January thru March 〰️
December 2025
The tannery is turned upside down in a remodel at the moment…again.
I’m convinced the hardest part of operating a small business is finding that sweet spot where passion aligns with reality. After so many ups and downs through the years we feel like we have finally landed on the sweet spot where we can operate our farm, raise our family, and continue to tan for the community.
Starting FEBRUARY 2025 THRU APRIL 2026 we will again accept hides locally. However… we will no longer accept hides mailed to us. They must be dropped off at that farm in Indian Valley or at our drop point in Eagle, Idaho.
We will be accepting cash or check for payment and will gladly return your hides by mail if necessary.
If you cannot drop your hides off locally and looking for a tannery to ship to, we highly recommend the following.
Traditional Tanners (Ashland Oregon)
Black Sheep of the Industry
Preserving Nature’s Beauty.
Your Story Matters.
Your hides are not worthless commodities. They transpire from an animal with a life well-lived, tended with the upmost care. Together we continue the journey of honoring the whole animal without the use of harmful chemicals.
Like you we care about the environment.
